• 3-4 slices of thick cut bacon
  • ½ lb brussels sprouts per person
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • salt and pepper


Cut bacon into ½” pieces and cook in a skillet, medium-low heat, until some of the fat starts to render (about 4-6 mins).

While the bacon is cooking trim the stems and slice each sprout in half. For larger sprouts, cut into quarters for even cooking. 

Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the pan. 

Add garlic and cook 1-2 minutes, careful not to burn. 

Add Brussels sprouts. Cook until tender (about 12 mins). 

Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Optional: Spice them up with a dash of red chili flakes.
