Howell Mountain
The birthplace of Cornerstone Cellars in 1991, and the flagship wine in our portfolio ever since, it’s an understatement to say Howell Mountain holds a special in our hearts. Grown at high elevation high above the fog line resting over the valley floor, our expression of Cabernet Sauvignon captures what is wonderful about this region.
Ink Grade vineyard stretches across 200 acres of terraced mountain terrain. Cornerstone Cellars sources fruit from a 2-acre block. At only 2 tons per acre our block produces about 3-4 tons each year, which nets us around 120-150 cases per year.
